Mixing OxiClean and bleach is extremely dangerous. OxiClean breaks down into hydrogen peroxide, and combining hydrogen peroxide with chlorine bleach creates a chemical reaction and poisonous gases.
Fill scoop to line 4 per 1 gallon of water. Submerge stained items in solution after dissolved. Soak 1-6 hours depending on severity of stain, some stains may require more time to soak. For best results, soak for 6 hours.
How I got rid of laundry stains using OxiClean: Step One: I filled a sink with warm water and a scoop of OxiClean White Revive Stain Remover and added the stained clothing. Step Two: I let the clothes soak in the OxiClean for about 8 hours (6 hours is recommended but I just let mine soak overnight).
How long does OxiClean work?
The sodium percarbonate in OxiClean needs just two hours to work, but it will remain stable for up to six hours before dissipating.

Which cleans better baking soda or borax?
Both baking soda and Borax are effective because they are alkaline and abrasive. But Borax has a higher PH than baking soda, making it a slightly harsher but arguably more effective cleaning agent. It inhibits fungi, mold, and bacteria.
You shouldn't mix OxiClean and bleach as it can be dangerous. It creates a chemical reaction resulting in toxic gases that can cause death when inhaled in large amounts. The heat that results as a byproduct is also a fire hazard. Typically, you should never mix potent cleaning products.
